The Making of Blue Pottery 

The whole process of making Blue Pottery involves four main steps:

• Pottery Making
• Designing & Painting
• Glazing
• Firing  

Part IV:  Firing the Blue Pottery

(1)  Preparing the kiln:

 Potters prepare the kiln and make offerings to their family deity for a successful firing.

(2)  Arranging the pottery in the kiln:

             Glazed pottery ready for firing in the kiln.

                Arranging the pottery inside the kiln.

(3)  Firing the kiln:

                    Firing the kiln.                                     Taking the fired pottery out of the kiln.

(4)  The finished product!
